Northern living quarters
The northern living quarters consist of a series of
interconnected rooms. The walls are decorated with wooden
panelling, used from the 15th century onwards for
insulation.
Southern living quarters
In the 15th century, the southern living quarters
were reserved for the Tierstein residence. They are flanked by
wooden galleries and lead to the trophy room and armoury. In this
room, a collection of bladed weapons dating from the end of the
Middle Ages is exhibited as well as armoury linked to the castle's
history.
